NXP

NXP has been part of the semiconductor division of Philips. Next eXPerience is the complete name and is a worldwide operating company with locations in 25 countries and its head office in Eindhoven in the Netherlands. NXP is a stock market listed company with its production facility in Nijmegen in the Netherlands. NXP employees more than 900 people and produce chips for the mobile phones and for the automotive industry.

In the production area NXP uses on-line monitoring of its chemical baths in which it is evident to analyse on-line certain important properties during their process.

The FTPA2000-SC Series (WPA) measures up to eight baths. The baths can be on single or multiple tools and of the same or different chemistries. It can be mounted anywhere within 100 meters of the baths and communicates with the tools using ModBus, Ethernet or Isolated 4 – 20 mA analog outputs. The WPA generates trend charts, predicted properties, bath alarms and health alarms.

The same calibrations used with the WPA may be used on our MB Series analyzers for use in the laboratory or in the clean room near the process. In addition to measuring wet chemicals, the MB Series’ wide range of sampling accessories makes it the perfect tool for measuring wafer surfaces for hydrogen, interstitial oxygen, carbon, organic material and many other surface properties.

ABB has been chosen Anaspec Solutions BV for the service and installation of the FTPA2000-SC series. We are very satisfied with the flexible approach which Anaspec Solutions showed the last years and not the least in their 25 years of experience in lab and process FT(N)IR solutions. Above all the well-known ABB process instrumentation has been proven to be very robust en reliable according NXP.
