Walkro International

Walkro International is one of Europe’s largest privately owned champion companies.
With 250 employees in 7 locations it produces 8.000 tons of phase 3 compost weekly.

Quality is a standard for Walkro, where the continuity of the production yield of the champions needs to be maintained.

Al samples of the incoming products in the bunkers, phase 1, 2 and 3 will be sampled and analyzed. In the mid-nineties, NIR technology was already used as not all samples could be done by Wet Chemical techniques.

Since NIR technology needed quite some maintenance, we made the decision to go forward with the FT_NIR technology available at Anaspec Solutions. Especially the big jar used for sampling saves time in the analysis and in cleaning time. At the end of the day we use a common dishwasher to clean the jars and nothing more. Anaspec Solutions just started at the same time and was still a small organization. Nonetheless they impressed us with knowledge and good support and our doubts disappeared. Whenever we contact Anaspec Solutions, we know they are always there to help us. We are confident this will continue in the future and therefore we have decided to purchase their steamdestillation system with automatic titrator.
