UCO Kampen BV

UCO Kampen BV is founded 40 years ago by Barend Vierhouten and has become one of the most modern fat processing companies in the Netherlands. Located in Kampen, UCO Kampen BV processed vegetable oils and fats as used in catering and industry.

Their own fleet and a large network of collectors collect frying oils and fats for their subsidiary Biodiesel Kampen BV. The raw material, known as Used Cooking Oil, is valuable for the production of Biofuel.

The facility in Kampen is setup according to the latest requirements and very efficient in design. With pride they can claim they are one of the most modern cooking oil and fat processing companies in Europe. With regards to analysis equipment, UCO Kampen BV certainly is a pioneer. According to UCO Kampen BV, their investment in FTNIR Spectrometers for the analysis of incoming raw materials has been their best investment in 2005. Moisture, Iodine-value and Free Fatty Acid can now quickly be analyzed. Each employee can perform the analysis because of the simple operation of the equipment. In recent years the cooperation with Anaspec Solutions BV has been positive. Added value choosing Anaspec Solutions BV were the previous experience gained in the edible oils industry and the robustness of the ABB Bomem spectrometers. In addition, Anaspec Solutions is able to successfully analyze other properties in Biodiesel using FTNIR technology.
