Mora Productie BV

Mora Productie B.V. develops and produces frozen snacks. The company has been founded by Marcel MOurmans and his wife Robby RAmaekers. After the takeover by Unilever in 1995, Mora became part of the group Ad van Geloven B.V. With the headoffice in Maastricht (NL) and the facility in Mol (Be), they are responsible for the production of approx. 35.000 ton in snacks with superior quality.

Mora products can be found everywhere from shops and restaurants to cafes. Food safety of frozen snacks is vital. Raw materials, intermediate products and end products are continuously checked. In 2001 the search for a quick and reliable analyser was started in order to analyse the presence of thermal oil in the cooking oils. Due to a leakage in the heating system, the thermal oil might contaminate the end product. To check the contamination, Mora has chosen the FT-NIR technology and purchased a Bomem spectrometer type MB160. For service and support Mora has chosen Anaspec Solutions. This has proven to be the right choice as they are always available for questions and the response time is very quick. The cooperation certainly will be continued in the future
