Groen Agro Control

Groen Agro Control

Groen Agro Control is active on the field of horticulture, fruit and vegetables and food safety. The connection between laboratory analyses and specific expertise of their specialists results in the development of effective and innovative solutions. The services are focused around two central topics: (1) Optimization of production and quality (2) Optimization of food safety.

Groen Agro Control is specialised in the determination of pesticide residues in a wide variety of products. Other aspects involve the analysis of nutritional values in food products, microbiological analyses, production of commercially interesting products through biotechnology, and inorganic analyses, aimed at elemental analysis in soils, solutions for plant growers and food products.

An ABB MB3600 FT-NIR was recently acquired from Anaspec Solutions to further improve these services. Several of the analyses done in the lab may be done more rapidly by using this device. The expectation is that this will result in a higher throughput rate of both food and soil samples.
