The Quant is used to measure both liquid and powdered products.
Besides the dedicated liquid and powder accessories, a fiber optic can be adapted to the analyser as well, which gives the ability for connecting different probes.
The analyser is specially designed for a quick and non destructive analysis of various solids and liquids. It will give you a reliable and stable results over years with very low maintenance cost. There is no scheduled maintenance for the first 5 to 10 years. The NIR lamp is renewed by using a special “ceramic glowbar”, which has an expected lifetime of 7 to 10 years. It is made as a modulair concept, which made it very easy to change it yourselves. The same modulair concept we use for the detectors DTGS, InAs, InGaAs and Si, which you can use in different application. The “solid state laser”, which we also use in our laser diffraction system for decades, don't has to be changed. The same accessories, as in our flex concept, can be used in the Quant.
The LipidQuant is an ideal system to analyse liquids. The analysis time is less than 2 minutes. Liquid products like, edible oils and fats, Biofuel, dairy products and many more are easily measured in cheap disposable cuvettes (Vials), which has the possibility to heat the samples. Cross contamination belongs to the past.
The AgriQuant has been developed for the agricultural sector specifically. However also widely used in other application like compost, dairy powders, mixfeed and solids. As a result of the bigger scanned area with this accessory, a more representative sample presentation will be occurred which make it very suited for heterogeneous products.
